The Senior Researcher (Law & Policy) will work closely with our team of researchers, legal experts, and external partners to design, execute, and publish impactful research. The role requires intellectual leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to engage with policymakers, academics, and civil society.

Key Responsibilities
Lead legal and policy research projects from conception to publication
Draft research reports, policy briefs, and thought pieces on critical law and governance issues
Provide expert inputs on environmental, developmental, and sustainability-related legal frameworks
Supervise and mentor junior researchers and interns
Liaise with government agencies, academia, civil society, and international organizations
Present research findings in workshops, conferences, and public forums
Contribute to proposal development and fundraising for research projects
Qualifications & Experience
Advanced degree in Law / Public Policy (PhD or LLM/Masters preferred)
Minimum 7–10 years of research or policy experience, preferably with a focus on environment, law, or governance
Strong publication record in reputed journals, policy papers, or reports
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multi-stakeholder projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with Indian and international legal and policy frameworks (environment, sustainability, governance).
